Teyahna Heath

Hi, I’m Teyahna Heath—a dedicated and passionate veterinary professional with five years of experience in the field. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of animals, from farm animals to companion animals in both general practice and emergency medicine.

Right now, I’m working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) while also pursuing my ultimate goal of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).

Outside of work and academics, I love staying active. You can usually find me at the gym or in an aerial silks class—my favorite way to stay grounded while flying high.

I’m truly excited to serve as a Veterinary Mentorship Ambassador and look forward to learning, growing, and building connections with fellow mentees on this journey.

Devyn Smith

Hi, I'm Devyn Smith, a proud graduate of Albany State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I’ve spent the past five years working in veterinary medicine as a technician, gaining hands-on experience and deepening my passion for animal care.

My journey began at a general practice clinic in Jonesboro, Georgia, and continued at another practice offering on-call emergency services while I completed my studies. After graduating in December 2023, I returned to the Fayetteville area and joined the team at South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES), where I’ve had the opportunity to build meaningful connections—including one with Dr. Boyd.

This season, I’m focused on completing my veterinary school application and taking the next step toward my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I’m excited about what’s ahead and honored to serve as a mentorship ambassador to help others on this path.
